Ao no Exorcist chapter 49: True Cross Academy Festivial- The Following Night

    To start off, I was hoping that Renzo wasn't the Illuminati spy, but I was wrong he is the spy that was sent.  In a way, it is good to have a twist and also was it part of the plan for Renzo to make Izumo believe that he liked her. Or was only a cover to keep on eye on her before taking her to his boss. Renzo the answer he gave Takara, was that he wasn't a spy, but more of a person send to watch the Cram school Exorcist students. Rin did exactly what I thought he will do, run to Renzo and Izumo without waiting for Shuro to get there. Behind Rin the rest of the exwires(don't want to write all the names) and Yukio came in time to see Renzo with his boss and the Illuminati Organization. Angel is heading over there with backup to rescue/get Izumo, but were too late because the leader arrived before them. And through Seraphim was speaking to all True Cross Knights.

  Mephisto arrived on time to save them from the heated light while he was eating.(what a surprise) The leader of the Illuminati Organization, The king of Light, Lucifer also the older brother of Mephisto, I wasn't expecting that. So that means Lucifer is the older brother of Rin (and Yukio) as well. It also seems that Mephisto is an alias, his real name as said by Lucifer is Samael. It is funny how the two brothers are talking, they greeted each other as if Lucifer came to visit. After they greeted each outer Lucifer declare war on the True Cross Knights. And reveal his plan that in a year they will revive, their father Satan and to unite Assiah and Gehenna to achieve a peaceful world. By the way Lucifer said that it was the last time that he asked Samael to join him, it means that they had that conversation before and that Samael rejected the idea of joining his brother. They both have different ideas on what was right and what is wrong. Then Samael comical said that their idea are different and Lucifer agreed, it made it seem that Samael didn't care much about the seriousness of the threat. Lucifer finished off with saying not to go easy on him and that he was taking Izumo.

   After Lucifer left, Samael told Rin that his brother was stronger than him even though Lucifer wasn't in good health, that is why he didn't try to save Izumo.  Instead, he send Yukio, the ex-wires, and Takara to go save Izumo while the rest of the exorcists deal with the middle class demons that are heading towards True Cross because Lucifer destroy the main barrier. Takara was hired by Samael, who considers him an Upper First Class Exorcist and that he will lead them to where they have to go.  At the end of the chapter, Rin declares that they are going to save Renzo and Izumo from the Illuminati.

Kotoura-san

   A few months ago I started watching an anime named, Kotoura-san . The main character, Kotoura, can read minds, which causes her parents to get a divorce; at  that time she was young and innocently said that her father was waiting for a call from a lady. And that her mom was going to see a man,  that is what caused them to have a fight. Her father left and soon after her mom dropped her off at her grandfather's house. When she tried to stopped her mom from leaving, she was shoved back and her mother said that she didn't want to give birth to  child like her. So she ended up living with her maternal grandfather.

   When she started school,  she had friends but she accidentally read their minds and told the whole class what person they like. Her classmates started crying, she was confused since she didn't know the difference when someone was thinking it or saying it aloud, she always assume they were talking aloud. That not only happen in primary school but middle school as well. She had friends but she accidentally said what they really thought or like, because of that her friends told her that they didn't want to be her friends anymore.  She became very lonely until she found a cat at the park and started feeding it wvery day after school. A few weeks passed and when she got to the park she found the cat gone because a lady called someone to take the cat. She lost a friend that wouldn't judge her.

   Once she started high school in a different town(her grandfather is rich so can send her to any school in any area) but this time she kept to herself until her classmate, Yoshihisa Manabe, started talking to her. She read his mind and found out that he thought about perverted things, much to her embarrassment. He also doesn't mind her mind reading ability and always like teasing Kotoura with his perverted thoughts.

  

   I watched four episodes of the series, it first starts depressing where it made me feel sorry for the character until she manage to make a real friend. Because of that she was bullied by Yoshihisa's friend that has a crush on him. I did like the first episode but then after that I lost interest. It didn't grabbed my attention as some other series that have school settings.

Naruto volume 40 and 41

   I'm currently reading Naruto volume 41. I'm behind on the manga and anime, but I already know what is going on because I skim through the new chapters.                                                                                          

   

   In the previous volume, I know most of us know who Naruto's parents are(I already knew who they are since it came out online), Jiraiya and Tsunade went to bar to drink some sake and talk. At first Tsunade said she was busy with her work because she is the 5th Hokage, but in the end she went.  In the bar Jiraiya was talking about what information he found about the location of  Akatsuki  which was in the Village Hidden in the Rain. He was going to a top-secret mission to investigate the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain. Tsunade didn't like the idea on sending Jiraiya alone to the Village Hidden in the Rain, and wanted him to wait on backup. After they left the bar they started talking once again, Tsunade mentions that Naruto is similar to his father,Minato(the 4th Hokage). Jiraiya on the other hand, said that Naruto wasn't similar to his father, but that he just look like him and that Naruto takes after his mother. Tsunade corrected herself and said that Naruto has his mother, Kushina's fighting style. Jiraiya mentions that he consider Minato like a son and consider Naruto like grandson.

  

   Meanwhile Sasuke is fighting Deidara, who at the end self destruct to kill Sasuke causes a big explosion that is felt by Karin and seen by Team Hebi, Team Kakashi, Yamato, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, and Akamaru. Suigetsu summons Manda and Sasuke came out, but Manda died because he took the force of the explosion. As Sasuke is healing in the hotel room, Karin comes running in saying the she senses some chakra heading their direction and they decide to leave before Team Kakashi and the rest reach them. Naruto runs into Itachi who only wants to talk to him and not capture him. The talk was about Sasuke and why Naruto was so obsessed on saving Sasuke.

  

   On volume 41, what I read so far is Jiraiya turned one of the rain ninjas into a frog. While the other rain ninja didn't want to turn into a frog; told Jiraiya what he knew about Pain. He left the belly of the frog leaving the rain ninja alone to go to another room to summon a scroll frog(it has the key written on his belly for Naruto's seal) that comes out of his mouth. They have a conversion about Naruto's seal becoming weaker every year that passes; and that the 4th seal the 9 tails into his son for a reason. That's how far I got on volume 41.

One Piece Chapter 720 The Gladiator Prisoners

   So far the winner of Block A is Champion Jesus Burgess from the Blackbeard pirates, the winner of Block B is Captain Cannibal Bartolomeo, and the winner of Block C is Luffy (he's known as Lucy). Since the ring was damage badly, the delay for D Block fight was 15 minutes.

   As Luffy was walking back to the locker room he gets attack by Cavendish. It's also reveal that Bartolomeo is a Luffy fan and got mad at a fighter for insulting Luffy, to the point of beating them up(going more to the extreme). He believes that Luffy will be the Pirate King and has an obsession with Luffy. His obsession started when he witness the almost execution of Luffy at Logue Town where Luffy shouted that he was going to be the Pirate King. To him the heavens split open and saved Luffy, Bartolomeo also sees it as a miracle. He followed every report of the strawhats, until Marineford, where he decided to head out to sea. He sees the fight and wanted to jump in to protect Luffy, but couldn't because he got emotional that he couldn't move. Before he could get any word out, Chinjao and his grandsons(they were helping Chinjao) came to tell Luffy that he was grateful and thank him for restoring his head. On the other hand, Luffy thought he was going to start fighting him so he ran away. Bartolomeo started acting like a girl with a crush as he thought how to approach Luffy. As he ran away a female gladiator, Rebecca, grabbed him and passed by Jesus Burgess who was talking to Blackbeard via Den Den Mushi. Blackbeard talks to Luffy about taking Ace's power(the mera mera devil fruit).

  Rebecca took Luffy to a "safe" place to be able to wait until his match. But it turned out to be a trap, Luffy defeats her easily and Rebecca told him to kill her since she was planning to kill him. He didn't do anything since she had no killing intent. Luffy finds out that the gladiators became prisoners because they rebelled against the Donquixote family. They will be set free if they win 1000 fights which to them is really difficult and if one of them runs away, all of them are executed. Rebecca wants to win the Mera Mera devil fruit to be able to destroy Doflamingo. She also told Luffy that the Toy soldier was leading an army against Doflamingo to set them free and she doesn't want him to protect her anymore, instead she wants to protect him. That's where the chapter ends.

One Piece Chapter 719 Open, Chinjao

  Luffy and Chinjao are the last of the fighters left on the C Block. At this point we find out why Chinjao has a grudge against Garp which to me was kinda a dumb reason. 30 years ago Chinjao was the commander of a pirate crew and his head was the only thing that can open the treasure of his clansmen. At some point Chinjao and Garp got into a fight, Chinjao claimed that his head is harder than Garp's fist. Garp was able to punch his head in that's when the fight ended with Chinjao retreating. After he was treated it his head was dented inwards(Chinjao head is pointed, the pointed part went inside his head). He tried opening the "lock" to his treasure but wasn't since his head was flat and he cruse Garp and he also cruse Garp's grandchildren.

  Once again it was fist vs head, Luffy punch and the power behind it manage to make the point come out. Luffy won on the C Block. Like always Luffy destroyed the ring.
